Since we’re going to the exotic country of Latvia, we decided it was worth getting a credit card that didn’t charge foreign fees. So off to research with a little help from The Points Guy to get the best credit card. Since we eat out a lot -Michelle is gonna eventually cook, one day, we think. It seemed Amex Gold was the best choice that didn’t charge foreign fees.

A Gold card! That’s our ‘we have good credit’ flex.

This golden credit card has a great rewards offer for new signups. But the catch is you need to spend a lottttt within the first 3 months in order to receive it. The race to buy begins. The reality is we probably would hit that dollar amount without forced spending, but oh the pressure.

All those dream items that have been waiting for months in the Amazon cart - let them rip. It helped it was just Amazon Prime week, but regardless, the game has begun!
